We are proud of the Downtown Historic Tomato Bowl, located at the end of Commerce Street on Austin Street in the heart of downtown Jacksonville. One of the last remaining downtown stadiums in Texas, the Tomato Bowl has a rich 75+ year-long history. In 2025, the Tomato Bowl was voted the Best High School Stadium in Texas by Dave Campbell's Texas Football. Come see for yourself how special our historic stadium is.

Jacksonville High School is a four-year public high school that enrolls approximately 1,270 students in grades 9-12. The school is accredited by the Texas Education Agency and the Southern Association of Secondary Schools, and is a member of the National Allegiance of High Schools.
